Within ten days of becoming the POTUS, Donald Trump showed everyone what his idea of America is. Donald Trump bans entry into the USA from seven countries proving to everyone that he meant everything he said. Calling his ban “temporary” and not permanent, more than 109 people were deported at the airports on Friday, not sure about what they’re future was going to be. This, coming from the United States of America, is a huge disappointment.
No visas will be issued for 90 days to visitors or migrants from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. People who already have visas coming from the seven specified countries are subject to the new law, apart from some exceptions. Green card holders, however, will not face any impact.
Many people have condemned this decision like Google CEO Sundar Pichai, saying how it effects many of Google’s employees. Jeb Bush, a Republican President Nominee, urged Donald Trump to review his order. Refusing to review his decision, Trump claimed that radical Islam is a serious threat to USA and the world. His utmost priority being the security of USA, he feels that doing this is going to help destroy ISIS.
Hillary Clinton, the winner of popular votes in the US Presidential elections, said that Islam is not an enemy. She condemned the order passed by President Trump stating how it’s going to pay into terrorists’ hands.
With such a beginning, one thing’s for sure. There’s no stopping Trump. He’s going to do what he wants, pass orders that affect a million lives and still get his way done. Whether or not everyone likes it, this is how the future in America is going to be. With the permanent ban of seven countries, those days aren’t far when it becomes near to impossible to go to the USA.
God Bless America!
