Sacred Games is based on a book of the same title written by Vikram Chandra published in 2006. It follows the story of an honest cop struggling to keep up with organized crime, corruption and politics around him. How he gets linked to a notorious crime lord and how everything is not what they seem like is what Sacred Games is all about.

Sacred Games brings together a team of brilliant actors who do justice to the characters they play. Saif Ali Khan plays Sartaj Singh, Nawazudding Siddiqui plays Ganesh Gaitonde, Radhika Apte plays Anjali Mathur and many actors who play recurring roles in the series.
