They pay for the food we eat, the drinks we get hungover on and the clothes we wear. This is an ode to those saviours called Boss. No matter how much we hate them, we know they’re important to us. On Boss’s Day, let’s take a look at the different types of bosses.
1. The Cool Boss
This kind of boss is always calm and composed, no matter how chaotic things at work get. They’ll find a solution rather than panic and make the situation worse. You’re blessed when you have a cool-headed boss.
2. The Short-tempered
Short-tempered bosses are those who lose their cool very soon but remember that they shouldn’t do that. They’ll calm themselves down and resume being nice because that’s how you should be to every employee.
3. The Time Manager
This kind of boss doesn’t compromise on the time schedule, no matter what happens. If things aren’t done in the given time frame, they get angry. You wouldn’t want to mess with their time schedule at all.
4. The Motivational Boss
There are some bosses who are always ready with life advises even when you don’t ask for them. They like to inspire you with big words, especially with examples from their personal life, which may or may not valuable.
5. The Critical Boss
This type of boss is one who ever appreciates efforts. You may be slogging the whole, trying your level best to please them, but they wouldn’t see that. They’ll always find faults in everything you do.
6. The Sarcastic Boss
Some bosses are more sarcastic than Chandler Bing himself. They always use sarcasm to respond to your questions. At first, you really believe what they say, but then you learn to get used to their ways.
7. The Planner Boss
There are bosses out there who plan out the whole execution when a brief is given. They like to work according to that, always sticking to their plans and hating everyone who tries to mess with it.
8. The Questioner Boss
When you’re in the middle of something important, these kinds of bosses ask you the most irrelevant questions. They don’t move from your desk until they’ve satisfied all their curiosity. When you have one, you know how it feels.
These were the types of bosses. Which one is yours?
Happy Boss’s Day!
