YAAAASSSS! What a time to be alive!
You heard the right. The gods have answered to our prayers. It’s finally our time.
I’m not even going to tell you to calm down because this is huge. From a Coldplay fan to a Coldplay fan, you can take a moment to sit down and relax your beating heart. Take a glass of water if you need. You need to be alive to read what follows. Coldplay might be coming to India and this is not a joke. Chris Martin’s army might be headed to India for A Head Full Of Dreams tour fulfilling that dream we all had.
Every Indian Coldplay fan was disappointed when the British band came to Delhi for an unscheduled gig at a cafe, and again in Mumbai for shooting the Hymn For The Weekend music video. Sonam Kapoor’s Instagram image with the band backstage acted like fuel to our already burning heart. All of this happened right in our country but the band and their manager were successful in keeping it all a secret. Why you do this Coldplay?
Currently, the band is busy with A Head Full Of Dreams tour. Covering Europe, North America for now, the band is now in United States for the concert in various cities. Every year there was used to be a rumour about the band coming to India which gave us hope and we all watched it break into pieces. After that little secret gig happening, we had all given up hopes. However, ever since Hymn For The Weekend music video came out, there has been speculation that they might tour in India. Here’s what Coldplay’s manager tweeted some months ago –
“Thank you @beyonce & @sonamakapoor for gracing the video with your angelic beauty. My new mission: bring Coldplay back to India asap.”
According to Mumbai Mirror, Coldplay might be coming to India on 19th November this year. It’ll be a fundraiser for Chris Martin’s Global Poverty Project. The city however is yet to be decided. Whether it’ll be Mumbai or Delhi, we still have time to know that. One thing you can expect, and that is a sold out show because we fans have been waiting for this since the invention of time. We’re all going for this even if it means starving for another year. Every Coldplay fan’s dream might be coming true this year and none of us can wait.
November, come soon please?
