Avengers Endgame Re-release : the promise of bonus post-credits footage!

Avengers Endgame is going to be re-released for a limited time, y’all! It’s set to be re-released next on June 28th in the last push effort to break Avatar’s reign as the highest grossing film of all time.

The last film in the Avengers storyline was released in April 2019 and rapidly broke the box-office with earnings of $2.743 billion worldwide.

But it fell short of the coveted $3 billion mark, currently held by James Cameron’s epic sci-fi fantasy film Avatar.

Films like Dark Phoenix and Men In Black: International stole the spotlight just as it was so near the finish line. And it seems Marvel has taken that to its heart.

Kevin Feige revealed to Screen Rant that the film will have bonus content post-credits –

“Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”

People are guessing the tribute refers to paying homage to Stan Lee, the genius creator of the comics. It’s definitely not a director’s cut version of the already 3-hour long film.

Another reason could be that the release of Spider-Man: Far from Home in tandem with the re-release could help Peter Parker grieve the death of his mentor Tony Stark. It could probably act as a bridge to the Spider-Man film.

It will be truly worth it to see the bonus footage and will Avengers Endgame finally be able to beat Avatar!
